The timeline I created is about the life of Amelia Earhart, from her birth to her disappearance. The timeline starts with her disappearance is works it's way backwards. I cannot say I would ever use or recommend TimeGlider. I could not figure out how to add pictures or remove the dates that are in between and did not pertain to my timeline.

Rezscore
I was surprised to learn that when I submitted my resume to the free online resume grader Rezscore that my results were much lower then I had expected them to be. The results stated that my resume is too short, hence the low score brevity, and that I needed to remove my objective and replace it a professional headline. The impact score is almost perfect, so the words Ive chosen are well written. However, the depth reveals that I havent given enough information about my history so that the employer has enough information to ask me questions. Embarrassing :-/

Cyber-bullying
This is the worst assignment thus far!! I see it's value, but I've had such trouble with it. At first, I couldnt download it photostory. Then for some odd reason, I had to use firefox to download it for internet explorer?!?! The microphone I bought specially for this project really tanked, but had to make do. Outside of those issues, I didnt really like the way Photostory flowed. I think it was very time comsuming to stop and start and figure out what I was going to say with each picture stop and start it again. I think it would be much easier if the user could get their spill out then edit it to go along with the pictures. On top of all that, my pictures texts are blurry :-/ I did like the music maker at the end.

I converted this YouTube video using Bender Converter site into a Windows Media Video. First I selected WMV
Then added the link from YouTube and clicked convert. Once converted, I was able to download the cideo on my computer and watch it through Windows Media Player. Bender Converter is a very user friendly site and easily navigated. The only issue I had was at first try I converted my video into a MP3 and when I tried to go back and convert to a WMV, the site said I was out of freebis for the day :-/

The website I used to download the video is called KeepVid. On this site, you are able to download videos for free by pasting the URL in the download pane. Ive been having problems with windows media player and have been unabe to play the video on my computer, but was able to upload it onto my Blogger without a problem. I think this knowledge and tool will be useful when incorporating videos from the internet into my lessons.

My Jeopardy Template
I've previously made Jeopardy templates using Power Point, but Jeopardy Lab is much easier to utilize. I based this template on the solar system. I think using this game would be a fun competitive way to review for students to review for a test.

Prezi is like Power Point brought into the future. It is easy to work with. The only problem I seem to be having is downloading the You Tube video. My lesson is about the life cycle of a star.

Power Point

I completed my Power Point SlideShare on a lesson teaching kindergarteners the value of money and what money looks like. I think Power Point slide shows reaches out to visual learners and, depending on the presentation, audio learners. I experienced some problems with SlideShare. My computer is running very slowly due to the loading and right now I have it embedded with the link. Also, my graphics are covering up some of my words which was not the case in my Power Point. I ended up removing the embedded presentation because it was causing too many computer issues.

The online graphing tool is an easy way to design and create charts to display data. This would be awesome an part of a project to include when teaching students averges, percentages, and displayng relavant data when writing a report. I thought this was a really neat activity and one I could use with students when teaching a almost any lesson. I think seeing the procedure step by step is easier than reading or only listening to direct instruction.
