My Learning Experience
I have decided that my I am going to create a digital photo album for my learning experience. I have never did one before and I have always wanted one. I am not sure what provider I will use. I believe Yahoo and AOL both have them. I would like to have a place where my family and friends can look at my photos in a nice set up.

As my Professor pointed out, my harddrive will only last for so long. This worries me because my life is on this thing. My photos are very important to me and I would seriously be upset if I lost any of them. During my research to find the program I want use, to I found that not all of them are free and that some of them have limited storage space.
I am having trouble even finding a Yahoo online photo album. I know that one exists because my friend has one. AOL's online album seems to be nice. It has no storage limits. My instructor wanted me to check out Picasa so thats where I'm off to next.
Picasa is the greatest! The program will searchmy entire harddrive for pictures with just the click of a button. I only have to install the free program! With AOL I will have to select folders yada yada yada. AOL does send out, but it seems very time consuming.
Okay I downloaded Picasa and it only took less than 5 minutes to download the program and upload all of my pictures. I just realized that my photos have been prganized on my computer, but they are not on the web. Picasa has 1024MB which I hope is plenty, but i have tons of pictures. I have to download a differnt program in order to upload my pictures onto the web. It is still Picasa.
Downloaded Picasa2 and it is taking slightly longer then I expected because you do have to selected everything (folders/individual pics) you want in your web album. I would still reccommend it.
Another good thing is that it can be published or unpublished.
